Account information
When you create or use a GovoriNow account, we may process information associated with your account, such as your email address, display name, account identifier, authentication information, and account status.
Learning and app data
GovoriNow may store information needed to provide the learning experience, including learning progress, activity, settings, language preferences, study preferences, subscription or entitlement status, and similar app data. Some learning information and preferences may also be stored locally on your device so the app can provide and preserve your learning experience.
Usage and technical information
GovoriNow may receive limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, understand, and improve the service. This can include information such as app or website interactions, browser or device information, and diagnostic or performance information.
Information GovoriNow does not require for its learning experience
GovoriNow does not require access to your precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone recordings to provide its current language-learning features. GovoriNow does not sell your personal information.
How we use information
• Create, authenticate, and maintain GovoriNow accounts.
• Provide vocabulary, phrases, conversations, dialogs, learning progress, and other learning features.
• Save account settings and preferences.
• Determine account and GovoriNow Pro entitlement status.
• Process and administer subscriptions where applicable.
• Maintain the security and reliability of GovoriNow.
• Diagnose problems and improve the app and website.
• Respond to account, privacy, deletion, billing, and support requests.
• Meet applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Service providers
GovoriNow uses third-party service providers to operate portions of the service.
Supabase
GovoriNow uses Supabase for services including account authentication and backend data storage.
Stripe
GovoriNow uses Stripe for web-based subscription billing and payment processing. Payment-card and other payment information entered into Stripe’s hosted payment interfaces is processed by Stripe. GovoriNow does not directly receive or store complete payment-card details.
GovoriNow may use Google services for app distribution and website or app measurement and analytics. Information processed by Google is subject to the applicable Google service and privacy terms.
Subscriptions and payments
GovoriNow Pro subscriptions purchased through GovoriNow’s web experience may be processed by Stripe.
The Google Play version of GovoriNow currently allows users to access eligible existing GovoriNow Pro benefits but does not initiate Stripe checkout or Stripe subscription-management flows from within the Android app.
Payment providers may retain transaction and financial records according to their own legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and compliance requirements.
Data storage and security
GovoriNow uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect account and service information.
Some GovoriNow learning data and preferences may be stored locally on your device. Account-related information may also be stored using GovoriNow’s backend service providers.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data retention
GovoriNow retains account and service information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account functionality, meet legitimate business needs, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
When an account is permanently deleted, GovoriNow deletes account-associated information that is designated for deletion through the account-deletion process.
Certain transaction, financial, security, fraud-prevention, legal, backup, or similar records may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary or legally required.
Account deletion
You can permanently delete your GovoriNow account from within GovoriNow:
Sign in → Account → Privacy & data → Delete account
When account deletion succeeds, GovoriNow deletes the account and associated GovoriNow account data covered by the deletion process and clears GovoriNow learning data stored locally on that device.
If an active GovoriNow Pro subscription is associated with the account, future renewal is canceled and account/Pro access ends immediately. Unused subscription time is not automatically refunded.
Account deletion cannot be undone.

Depending on how you use GovoriNow, you may:
• Update available account information.
• Change learning preferences and settings.
• Sign out of your account.
• Permanently delete your GovoriNow account.
• Contact GovoriNow with privacy or account questions.
Children’s privacy
GovoriNow is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
GovoriNow may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes or as legal, regulatory, or operational requirements evolve.
When the policy is updated, the effective date shown at the top of this page will be revised.
