Start with A1 vocabulary and learn words you’ll actually use. Use the cards to see the English word first, try to remember the Russian, reveal it when needed, hear the pronunciation, and rate how well you knew it.

The goal isn’t just to recognize the word. It’s to recall it.

Listen first. Try to respond before you see anything. GovoriNow plays the Russian phrase without immediately showing you the answer. If you get stuck, reveal the answer to see the Russian, pronunciation, and English meaning. Then replay it and try again.

After each card, choose the rating that feels right: Needs Practice — you struggled to remember it. Getting There — you knew some of it or needed a little help. Know It — you recalled it confidently. GovoriNow uses those ratings to bring difficult material back through Smart Review.
